Privacy Policy: We conform to the Data Protection Act, 1998. Gothic Fairy does not disclose buyers information to any third party. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam). We only contact the buyer, by email, regarding their order (eg. a dispatch notification) and we only send newsletters to customers who have requested a newsletter for notifications of our specials and discounts. We only use the customers phone number if sending the item/s via courier, as the courier requires a number of the recipient of the parcel. Ordering From Gothic Fairy: Purchasing items from us is straightforward. Whilst browsing through our catalogue, if you see an item you wish to purchase, simply click on that item to take you to the item information page, where you should be able to see a description of the item and any additional photographs. Then you just need to click on the ‘Buy Now’ button and the item will be added to your shopping cart. You can then choose to continue browsing the site or if you’ve finished with your purchases, you can pay for your items by clicking the ‘Checkout’ button. Your "shopping cart" can be viewed at any time by clicking on the shopping trolley at the top of the page. When you go through Checkout you will be asked to provide delivery and payment details so that we can process your order. If necessary you have the option of adding a delivery address different from your registered address. We use "cookies" so that if you log out your items will be found in your basket the next time you log in. Payment: We accept payment by Nochex and PayPal, which allow safe online payments by credit or debit card. We also accept payment by GB pounds sterling (£) cheques and postal orders made out to The Gothic Shop and sent to The Gothic Shop, Ace, 7 Broadfields Retail Park, Bicester Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8BU, UK. We do not accept cheques or postal orders in non-sterling currency. If paying by Postal Order please select "cheque" during the checkout process. If you select "cheque" the relevant details will be emailed to you. Delivery Schedule: All items listed are in stock, unless stated otherwise. Most items are posted the following working day after purchase, but please allow up to 3 working days for processing. We have postal collections Monday - Friday, and not on Saturday. We always send a dispatch notification so that you're aware of when the parcel has been posted. We send most of the items to UK addresses by First Class, they should arrive the following day, but please allow 3-7 days for delivery within the UK and 5-7 days for delivery to Europe. If we cannot process the order within 2 days we will contact you. Postage & Packaging UK and overseas: Please see "Postage Rates" Returns: In the unlikely event where you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us straight away and return it to the address on the invoice within fourteen days. We can either replace the item (with the same item or same item in different size, if in stock) or we will give you a refund of the cost of the item provided the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Any returned clothing MUST have all tags attached. Please include the invoice with the item and also state the reason for the return and whether you require a refund or replacement. We do not refund postage costs, unless we sent you a faulty or incorrect item. If an item is damaged in the post we will either refund you once it has been returned to us at your expense, or we will complete the Royal Mail claim forms which we will forward to you. If the item was paid for using Paypal we will refund your Paypal account. If it was paid for using Nochex, Cheque or Postal Order we will refund you using a cheque. We do not impose re-stocking charges for returned items. Items lost in the post: We always obtain a Certificate of Posting so that we are able to refund items lost in the post. If items have not arrived after 15 working days we will require a written statement from you as Royal Mail investigate most lost claims, the details of which will be emailed to you. We will then fill out any necessary claim forms at the post office which we will submit together with your statement. In the event that this becomes necessary please be aware a refund will be made as soon as we have clearance from Royal Mail.
